Silantro Helicopter Simulator Toolkit
The Silantro Helicopter Simulator Toolkit is a comprehensive toolkit that allows you to set up, model, and simulate any rotary-wing aircraft. It provides AAA flight simulation physics for rotary-wing aircraft such as helicopters and propeller drones, with full Blade Element Momentum Theory analysis.

The system can be used to model and simulate any rotary-wing aircraft, from turbine-powered helicopters to piston-powered helicopters or propeller-powered drones. It also supports simpler arcade-style models, which can be configured to use either keyboard inputs or a combined keyboard-mouse input.
The toolkit includes a detailed aerodynamic system that uses a full Blade Element Momentum Theory analysis method for the rotors. It calculates lift, torque, directional forces, and control moments generated by the rotor blades based on standard aerodynamic principles and formulas and supplied variables. The system can import airfoil data for the rotor directly from JavaFoil in both txt or afl file format.
The toolkit is compatible with Android and IOS devices and includes full C# source code. It provides realistic flight controls for all major helicopter configurations with their individual unique controls and systems. Different engines are available to power the helicopters, including piston, turboshaft, and electric engines with realistic performance dependencies such as air density, forward speed, environmental temperature, and aircraft altitude.
The toolkit also includes full VR support and support for Logitech, Thrustmaster, and other joysticks compatible with Unity. A full array of cockpit instruments is available, including joystick, yokes, analogue dials, and digital displays. A weapon system is also included, with miniguns with rotating barrels, unguided drop bombs and unguided rockets, active and semi-active homing missiles with proportional navigation.
An enter-exit system is included that allows the helicopters to be controlled either internally or externally. Setting up the enter-exit system is as simple as switching and selecting the preferred control mode.
The asset is under constant development and includes 7 sample scenes demonstrating different configurations/behaviors.
